A CD that condenses the world of Cafe Bohemia, an exotic outdoor terrace cafe in Shibuya, Tokyo where you can also enjoy shisha and belly dancing, will be released on Wednesday, June 25th.
This album was selected and mixed by TXAKO (Chako), a notable female DJ who has performed at Fuji Rock for seven consecutive years, including this year, and also appears at festivals in Europe with an audience of 300,000 people.
To celebrate the release of this album, which is packed with world music such as Latin, ska, pachanga, Balkan, etc. by artists from Spain, Italy, Basque, Ukraine, Argentina, and more, a release event will be held at Cafe Bohemia on Friday, June 27th.
The event space will feature performances by guest artists who sympathize with the world of Cafe Bohemia, curry dishes by Tokyo Spice Banchou, who travels to events and clubs all over Japan to serve their original curry, shisha (water pipe), a relaxation item that has been gaining attention in recent years, and Chandon summer bottles, which are perfect for early summer.
Cafe BOHEMIA, which operates as a new landmark in Shibuya's popular Ura-Shibuya area, will be creating an adult early summer evening where you can truly feel the connection between "sound, food, and people."
