Tomoko Nagashima
Vocalist/lyricist/composer/producer.
Born June 2, 1979 in Hyogo Prefecture. Orange Pekoe was formed in 1998 with guitarist Kazuma Fujimoto.
A unique style of self-producing and sublimating various music, mainly jazz and Brazilian.
She became popular for her beautiful Japanese lyrics and soulful and inclusive singing voice.
After making their indie debut while attending Kwansei Gakuin University, they became a hot topic in clubs and cafes.
He made his major debut from BMG Fun House (currently Sony Music Labels Ariola Japan) and gained great support.
Their first album debuted at number 5 on Oricon. It became a huge hit, selling over 350,000 copies.
He has won numerous awards including the Japan Gold Disc Award for Newcomer of the Year. In addition, for the first time in history, 36 radio FM stations were in heavy rotation.
To date, they have released 7 original albums, 12 single CDs, 2 mini albums, 5 planned albums including a live CD/DVD and best album including the final day of the album tour at NHK Hall, and 7 albums. Released an analog EP and 5 analog LPs.
