ROMANEQUO
The four members are artistic individuals who freely express music and dance centered on Eastern European, Middle Eastern Roma Gypsy music and ethnic minority music, while respecting the culture and history of each region and adding their own spice to it.
A thrilling, sometimes improvised exchange of words and a four-person percussion team! An up-and-coming musician and dance unit with a knack for adult arrangements.
Tanehiko Sekishima violin
He dropped out of the classical music world where he had been taught how to play at an early age. He started learning on his own again in his late teens and has participated in various groups since then. From 2007 to 2012, he performed at events in the city and other regions as a Heaven Artist under the Tokyo Metropolitan Government's street performance program.
He is currently working as a freelance performer, exploring his own unique style of music while working with people from different fields and across genres.

In the spring of 2002, he was captivated by the sound and rhythm of taiko drums he heard while traveling in Thailand and Okinawa, and began playing them in nature.
After performing improvisational collaborations with dancers, musicians, theater artists, and video artists, he joined the Arabic and harmonic percussion group "Sag Chana" in the summer of 2007.
In the spring of 2015, he launched the Frame Drum Workshop, Onko Chishin, and began working as a drum maker.
Currently, he is based in Tokyo and performs as a solo artist, a support for groups such as Sag Chana and the self-made instrument duo "Sampin".
Currently engaged in frame drum production, lessons, workshops, effective use of deerskin, collaborations with artists, etc.
